Kahn, Severson and Ruckert discuss in their paper topics to do with nature and technology. In their piece, The Human Relation with Nature and Technological Nature, they examine the differences between actual nature and technological nature, and examine its impacts on people. They begin by defining technological nature, and argue that a reliance on technological nature instead of on actual nature seems to diminish the physical and psychological well-being of people. They conclude by discussing how generations of people to come might have an altered and reduced understanding of what full human flourishing could look like or be.
